1. About the Service
Unmask ADHD operates a specialist telehealth platform providing:
- An online ADHD screening questionnaire (Phase 1)
- A comprehensive diagnostic assessment (Phase 2 Vault)
- Video consultations with licensed clinicians
- A formal written clinical report
- Ongoing care subscription (messaging, symptom tracking)
2. Not an Emergency Service
3. Eligibility
You must be:
- 18 years of age or older
- Located in Nigeria (our clinicians are licensed to practice in Nigeria)
- Not currently under the care of a clinician who has expressly advised against telehealth assessment
4. Fees and Payments
- Diagnostic Assessment: A one-time fee is charged before access to the full assessment vault and consultation booking. The current fee is displayed on our pricing page and subject to change with 14 days notice.
- Consultation: Included within the diagnostic fee for your initial consultation.
- Monthly Subscription: Optional. Provides ongoing access to messaging and monitoring features. Billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime.
- Rebooking Fee: A reduced rebooking fee applies for follow-up consultations for existing patients.
- All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include any applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store card details.
5. Refund Policy
Please see our Refund Policy for full details. Summary:
- Diagnostic fee: Refundable within 48 hours if no assessment has been started
- Once your assessment has been accessed, no refund is available
- If we cancel your consultation without an alternative, you are entitled to a full refund
- Subscription fees: Non-refundable for the current billing period; cancel before next renewal to avoid future charges
6. Clinical Limitations
Our assessment is based on validated clinical tools (ASRS, PHQ-9, GAD-7) and a structured clinical interview. You acknowledge:
- A diagnosis of ADHD requires a full clinical assessment by a licensed clinician. Our platform facilitates this but cannot guarantee a specific outcome
- The diagnosis provided is the professional opinion of the assessing clinician and may differ from other assessments
- We are not responsible for treatment decisions made by third parties based on our report
- Clinicians on our platform are licensed and verified but exercise independent professional judgment
7. Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide honest and accurate information in all assessments and communications
- Attend scheduled consultations punctually. Missed appointments without 24-hour notice may incur a charge
- Keep your account credentials confidential
- Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
8. Intellectual Property
Your clinical report is yours. All other content on the platform, including the assessment questions, scoring algorithms, branding, and software, belongs to Unmask ADHD and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for the independent clinical decisions of clinicians on our platform
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 14 days notice via email before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
